...stay 21St June 2003 Holiday Inn Republic, Paris, France This is a big hotel near the centre of Paris, the website makes it look great, the façade and location are impressive, its got 4 stars, and loads of facilities BUT don’t go there unless you get a deal for £100 or less for two per night. ...of the other 20 odd Holiday Inn full service hotels I’ve stayed in, how it manages 4 stars is beyond me. In fact the Holiday Inn Express’s I’ve stayed in are better than this place and half the price. I stay in 100+ hotels every year and this is the worst value for money hotel I’ve been in.
