Imagine being with left bank intellectuals Advantages: Typical elegant Paris Brasserie Disadvantages: Not a cheap brasserie The Lutetia Brasserie is part of the Lutetia Hotel. To my mind it is typical of Parisienne brasseries. Black leather banquettes around the walls, nice white linen tablecloths and napkins, all this around a central bar which has high stools for your aperitifs. We found the service very good, the waiters being very helpful offering an English menu and willing to explain dishes. The menu did not contain any unusual ingredients and was classic French. ... ...and well presented on the plate. It is obviously used by local people, a good sign - they do not depend on tourists and so maintain a high standard. It is not cheap. The cost was approx £30 - £40 per head for 3 courses. Wine was from £12 up. This I think was typical of a nice restaurant - you get what you pay for - good food, nice ambience, pleasant surroundings and good service. Even great fun for adults! Advantages: Great character interaction, good quality food Disadvantages: Price Cafe Mickey is a restaurant that specialises in character meals. It is open all day from 7am to 11pm. In the mornings they do character breakfasts, then have a full menu for lunch / dinner. Breakfast is Є17 for Disney hotel guests (Є12 for children) and Є25 for other visitors (Є17 for children). The average meal price for lunch / evening meal is Є8 for a starter, Є22 for a main course and Є8 for a dessert. ... ...menu is Є15. Cafe Mickey is located in Disney Village at Disneyland Paris. It has two floors that overlook the Disney Lake and is no more than 5 minutes walk to any of the Disney hotels. The characters change daily so there is no guarentees of who you will get, though they tend to be the most popular ones. Restaurant Au clair de la lune, Montmartre = non tourist fare Advantages: Beautiful facility, great food, English menu, reasonable prices, great location Disadvantages: Small restaurant that can be difficult for families or large groups, difficult parking ...fare. In my opinion, Restaurant Au clair de la lune, 9 rue Poulbot offers that exact opportunity. The environment is quaint, the food is excellent and the wait staff is very attentive. My first experience with Au clair de la lune was for a business meeting and the venue was ideal. My second experience was for a romantic dinner with my wife....again it did not disappoint. Living in Belgium, where the service is poor, I am very sensitive to and appreciative ... Watch the world go by in Paris Advantages: Excellent food and great wine Disadvantages: It gets hot outside ...a cheap little bistro called Le Grizzli it was close and it had a fixed price menu, outdoor seating and looked easy to get to:) So off we went to Le Grizzli… **Fifteen Minutes later** “Oops wrong way dear” (Slap) “Ow!!” Half an hour later and we finally have Le Grizzly in our sights, after a brief side trip to see the Fontaine des Innocents (Have a look if you get the chance peeps it is gorgeous), and it looks perfect for our needs. Le Grizzli ... ...upstairs, and you discover that Le Grizzli is like a Tardis (Bigger on the inside than the outside). The interior is nice, clean and very very tasteful to look at. However what littlemissy and I were here for was the outside seating with a bottle of wine and a view of the world passing you by.
