Paris is a great place. I spent 3 days there but could have stayed so much longer. There are so many things to see and do. The Eiffel Tower was my highlight, the view from the top is absolutely awesome. Like London, everything is compact in the centre of Paris and it is quite easy to walk from place to place. If you need to travel further afield, the underground system in Paris is very good and very easy to navigate your way around the different lines – even though it is in French! I would also recommend the Champs-Elysees, the view from the top of there, with all the roads coming towards you is amazing. I did this climb at night, and the lights could be seen for what seemed like miles. You can get to Paris for probably £120 for a couple of nights, it is well worth it. I for one, plan to return soon
