Well, I was two times in Paris and i have heard that « les Parisiens » do not want to live in Paris, because of the stress and the more or less pollution.
But I do not support this decision. Well, before I write something about Paris I tell you how you can travel to Paris in the best way.
The best way to reach Paris is to go with an aeroplane or with the bus on account of the price (if you do not choose the first class to travel). Nevertheless, the comfort is not the best. With the car is too complicated, because it is too long and your car can be destroyed in Paris or it can be stolen.
When you arrive the capital of France I propose you the street “rue des petites hotels”, on account of the many economic hotels with one or two stars. These hotels are not luxurious and their building is not the best, but they surprisingly offer comfortable chambers with more or less clear bathrooms.
When you have arrived your hotel you must decide how to visit the beautifulness monuments and the wonderfulness places in Paris.
To visit the monuments with the taxi is nit a good idea, because it is too expensive. To go with the bus is better, because it is cheaper and you can have a great impression of Paris. Nevertheless, les Parisiens make a lot of strikes and it can happen that you will wait a long time in a bus stop.
I recommend you to take the Metro in order to visit the places of Paris.
When you have resolved these formal things we can now see the city under the magnifying glass.
To open with, the modern part of Paris is la Défense. There, you can see modern buildings and the famous and attractive building is la Grande Arche. However, this modern part is too cold, the concrete dominates and it does not show any sign of nature.
When you go nearer to the centre of Paris, you will see the real PARIS. Firstly, you can visit l’Arc de Triomphe, which is one of the famous monuments in Paris. There, you can also see a memorial of the “inconnu” soldier. In addition, when you arrive at the top of the Arc de Triomphe, you have a wonderful point of view of Paris. I propose you to see this view at night, because Paris is illuminated especially les Champs Elysees.
As a consequence, we are now to the famous Boulevard of Paris: Les Champs Elysees.
There, you can buy everything from Cds to quality clothes. Nevertheless, the things are more or less expensive.
In Champs Elysees you can also eat in good restaurants (except McDonald’s). Moreover, in this Boulevard les Parisiens celebrate the most important party’s like the 14 July (today) or when l’équipe tricolore wins a world cup.
When you have arrived the end of les Champs Elysees you will see La Place de la Concorde and a big park where you can make a pause.
For culture fans the capital of France offers many things like the Opera or Le Musee du Louvre. In this museum you can see the Mona Lisa and it is characterized by many crystal pyramids. But I think you must visit Le Musee d’Orsay on account of the Monet’s, Manet’s, Van Gogh’s or Renoir’s pictures which are beautiful and attractive.
To have the first romantic impression of Paris, I recommend you to make a night trip with a ship in the river Seine. You can see the little Statue of Liberty, which is n American’s present. In addition, you can also see the illuminated Notre Dame. The cathedral of Paris is also amazing and there you can be painted by many comic-painters. There also exist a stone and when you step it, you will return to Paris.
To visit Paris is also to visit le Tour Eiffel. A travel to the capital of France without to see le Tour Eiffel does not exist and you will not be disappointed. Le Tour Eiffel is naturally very big and it offers you a great point of view of Paris. In this area you also have the possibility to make a rest, because of the many parks. Moreover, you can buy many souvenirs by many “street” salesmen.
Nevertheless, the most beautiful place in Paris is le Sacre Coeur. Not only that the church is wonderful and extraordinaire but also the atmosphere is great and amazing. You can be painted by many painters, you can eat in great restaurants and the most important thing is that you can speak with other people who come from other countries like Spain, Italy or England.
In addition, Paris defends its name as la ville de l’amour (the city of love). When you want to demonstrate your love towards your girl, then you run off with her in le Sacre Coeur. There, you must only give her a rose during a sunrise.
Taking everything into account, I think that les Parisiens must think about their desire to quit Paris, because they will quit a wonderful place.
