I recently stayed in this hotel for a couple of weeks due to a training course, and was pleasantly surprised. While not as immediately appealing, as some of the other, more grand, hotels surrounding Heathrow Airport, all of which were fully booked, the Park Inn seemed to have better facilites and better service than most of the other local hotels.
Having a pool in the fitness centre was a bonus, especially when staying for a while. Also being able to get a drink and some food when arriving late, without having to pay £20+ for room service was another benefit. Bit of a shame I couldn't get my breakfast to go though, as was not being able to get a taxi in the morning when I'd requested it the night before.
While my scores may not be the highest ever given, I'd usually give a lot lower to most airport hotels...
