LOCATION
Jurys InnNottingham is located between bridge over the river and a water channel on the London Road , southeast of the city centre, close to the railway station and within a two-minute walk of the tramway system.
First Impression
On arrival to the Jurys Inn in Nottingham city centre, me and my partner were greeted by a modern, quite impressive looking, 8-floors high building. Although the building looks a little unfinished, the reception area looked spotless and shiny marble flooring as well as dimmed lightning and colour scheme added to a very glamorous look. The receptionist welcomed us and checked us in in a fairly informal manner. Unfortunately, we were not given any directions on how to get to our room, where the hotel facilities are or any restaurant/bar opening times.

Nottingham has two large shopping centres, the Broadmarsh Centre and the Victoria Centre, situated at opposite ends of the city centre .The Victoria Centre is the bigger of the two, containing 120 shops (not counting all the various stalls in the market area.)
Getting there is easy - if you drive, there's parking for over 2700 cars . If you don't drive, don't worry - almost all the Nottingham City Transport buses stop either directly outside the Victoria Centre, or within a few minutes walk of it . Other bus companies from slightly further afield, such as Trent Barton , terminate at the local coach station within the centre . If you're walking, the centre is signposted from various points in the city centre, and at the end of the day when you're weighed down with shopping, there are 2 taxi ranks directly outside the main entrance ...

The Premier Travel Inn at Nottingham has 160 bedrooms in total, on 4 floors. My boyfriend and I decided that we would go and stay in Nottingham as we have never been there before, and we chose this hotel as it was cheap and had a good location.

The hotel is located right in the heart of the city centre so there is easy access to pubs, clubs, restaurants and shops. We arrived by train, the hotel is about a 15 minute walk from the train station, or if you prefer you can get the tram from the train station for £1.40 each and it will drop you off just a few metres from the hotel.
The road on which the hotel is built on is very quiet traffic ...
