Advantages: Excellent location, Trendy hotel, Easy to get to, Lovely rooms & Great facilities
Disadvantages: Car Parking is a little tricky & Food & drink prices can be quite high

...Having booked my New Year break in November 2004 I decided I would need to book an airport hotel to make sure I got my flight on time. I live in the Midlands and would find it really difficult to get down to Heathrow for 6am especially at holiday time. I haven't stayed in any airport hotels in London before so I really wasn't sure what to book and what to look for. As I work for a holiday company I do get a 50% discount on airport hotels so it really depended on what they could offer me. My family initially wanted to book the Holiday Inn which was fine with me but my company couldn't book this one so I had about 4 others to choose from and the Park Inn sounded the most appealing as it seemed the closest to the airport and probably the most easiest to get to. ...This Le Meridien Hotel at Heathrow Airport has actually had a name change and is now the Park Inn. From my understanding, this is the first Park Inn hotel in the UK. The standards are equally good to those at Le Meridien Hotels. In fact, I stayed at this hotel, both before and after the changeover and other than obvious changes to names, logos, uniforms, etc, I didn’t notice any difference. The hotel is located at the entrance to Heathrow Airport. If you know Heathrow well, then the hotel is on the left hand side as you approach the roundabout, which has the model of Concorde at the centre of it. This makes the hotel really easy to get to. ...I had been in Hotel Lords park inn for more than 3 times in last 3 years of my total stay in Surat. It is second choice after Hotel Taj for every business class person. It is located near railway station but far from airport. Surat airport has started since one year. Hotel is in category of 3 star but facilities are of average class. Restaurant on ground floor serve indian,continental,chinese,mexican and gujarati food. It is good compare to other facilities. But due to location it is little crowded and noisey. staff and other services are also of average class. But due to lack of other good hotels in Surat always have bookings in advance.
