* A Great City Centre Hotel *

Advantages: Location , rooms ,
Disadvantages: expensive , weird food

I have just realised that I stay in a lot of hotels over the year as I tend to visit Glasgow and London alot, so the cost soon add's up! Anyway on my last trip to Glasgow I thought i'd try a different hotel for a change as I go back to the same one ( as i know it's good) The Park in caught my eye because behind the reseption desk there is a water fall that changes colour , everytime I walked past this hotel I wanted to stay there!! ~*Location*~ it's 30 seconds from Glasgow bus station , not kidding you can see it from your window !! Very Central ~*The room*~ The room was lovely. The Ensuite had a cool jet shower.one thing is part of the bathroom wall was made of glass blocks which I found a bit strange as it was looknig into the room and you can see right in! ~* Extra Informatioin*~ This hotel is a 4 start hotel and it ...

Great value in Berlin city centre

Advantages: Value
Disadvantages: Nothing springs to mind

My friend and I went to Berlin earlier on this month for a short break to get away from the bad Scottish weather. We were away for three days and four nights and were looking for somewhere cheap but comfortable to stay. We ended up staying at the Holiday Inn Express City Centre West. Cost Cost is always my prime consideration when making any purchase so I was delighted with the price of £27 per person per night for a twin room at the Holiday Inn Express, especially given the poor Euro exchange rate for tourists. This was a special offer from one of the many websites that offers good deals on hotels. The special offer gave 25% off the standard price so the standard price would be £36 per night. This is still pretty good value I think, for the reasons listed below in my review? Booking As mentioned above I booked through ...

Chocolate Heaven In Sydney Centre

Advantages: Central location, the pure nature of the cafe
Disadvantages: A good, but not amazingly extensive choice of things to buy

bars are 'made and packaged in Australia from imported ingredients', Aldi, the German supermarket chain, adorns its windows with signs proclaiming '97% Australian products'. In this setting, fully imported items are a novelty and though once deemed a bad thing due to the losses they cause Australian producers and manufacturers to incur, Swiss chocolate escapes this wrath and retains its reputation of quality and luxury. The Lindt Store and Café is in the centre of Sydney, within easy walking distance of Hyde Park and the Botanical Gardens, and the harbour front. Martin Place is a pedestrianized precinct with fancy, glittering bars, shiny office blocks and a Starbucks. At one end, taking up a huge corner of the street, is the Lindt building, with the letters of the name discretely scripted above the windows. They open roughly 7am - 7pm ...
