Everyone that gets a parrot as a pet always expects that Parrot to talk, when in reality sometimes parrots never talk. The Best talkers are: Quaker Parrots, which are a smaller variety of parrot and are sometimes called parakeets, are very good talkers and can pick up conversation very quickly without much teaching. African gray parrots are another good talker, they will pick up just about anything they hear, so be careful what you say! Macaws and cockatoos are good talkers also, but I own a macaw, I have had her for three years now, and I have never heard her say a word. Alot of the time it just depends on the birds personality. Double Yellow head Parrots are good mimics and also they like to sing. I owned a cockatoo once that had a large vocabulary, sang, danced, screamed at the kids to come in and laughed. Sometimes that bird made up for the birds that didnt talk. Parrots are quite intelligent and become just one of the family. They usually bond more to one person than all the other people in the family. Our Macaw has bonded to my Husband and really doesnt want much to do with me until he is gone , then Im her best friend. Even though Im her second choice, I love her and respect her greatly.

AT first I thought this was a very clever satire, but really you've just filed this in the wrong place, I think?
