A chance for me to enjoy a respite and any relaxation is a rare occurrence during the school summer holidays, and to actually concur with some hot sunny weather is even more obscure. I came by these DelMonte smoothie ice lollies by accident, whilst shopping in Morrisons supermarket, I was first drawn by the offer price, 3 for £1. Great I thought, asuming from the packaging I was buying Forest fruits flavour. Imagine my disappointment when taking one from the box and reading the unusual combination of Blueberry, pomegranate and cranberry - of course "super fruits", all having beneficial health properties but not what I would have chosen when I fancied an ice cream. However I was amazed how nice they were.
My idea of a smoothie being made with yoghurt, I expected it might not be the most thirst quenching experience, I was wrong. The Superfruit smoothie has a very tangy exciting flavour which smells delicious. Ice cold and refreshing it was perfect for that hot afternoon ...
