4 of us went on Saturday evening and the whole experience was delightful. The menu is extensive and caters for all tastes. The specials are very good and the waiter is knowledgable about the ingrediants used.

We all chose the scallops as a starter and we all agreed they were lovely. For main course we had:
Sword Fish
Monk Fish
Halibut
King Prawn pasta

All of the above dishes were cooked to perfection. The sauces that they came with tasted divine and the vegetables were cooked al dente which is always a pleasure. We had 3 bottles of good quality wine and the bill came to £35 per head.

The staff were friendly despite the fact that they were extremely busy and they were turning people away who hadn't had the forsight to book. We didn't wait for ages between courses and we didn't feel hurried to vacate our table. All in all a great experience and we will definately go again when we are next in Edinburg.

Sorry for the low rating, but I think that your Review needs a lot more information and detail to justify a higher rating. Restaurant reviews need lots of detail on the tastes of each dish, wine, service, costs etc I think that you need to write every product Review as if you’re writing for someone who has virtually no knowledge of what you’re reviewing, in clear non technical language. You might find it helpful if you read and rate some other peoples’ reviews (especially those that have been rated VH or E). It might give you an idea of the sort of things you need to include. It might also be helpful if you had a look at the Ciao guides to writing Reviews and Rating I found them really useful. If I can be of any help feel free to put a note in my gb. Rich
