I went out after a bussiness dinner, and my cllients decided to go to Pavilhao Chines.
Located in Bairro Alto, it was forecasted that parking wouldnt be easy, and that streets would be packed with youngsters.
Nevertheless, we decided to have a go. Took us 30 minutes to find a parking space.
Once inside, you can almost forget the mess outside.
The decoration, made of ... ...memorabilia from Soviet Union and WW2), the sofisticated ambience is filled by a clientelle that looks for something diferent during night time....
The service was flawed by a waiter that poured an unsolicited piece of ice in my James Martins 30.
Apart from that, not so bad... Just dont expect much from service.
Much will be expected from your wallet...
Like i said... For your eyes only... Because its too expensive for your mouth.... ...

Advantages: Beautiful decoration, cozy! Disadvantages: No parking for car outiside!
I live in Lisbon and I didn't know they were serving dinners! I always went there later in the evening. So that's how I recommend the place! The decoration is really astonishing, small objects everywhere, great collections of miniature soldiers and other funny things. You won't take your eyes from the walls and ceiling!
I see it as a good pub/bar, so with this deocratio, it's the perfect place to have a drink with your friends or have a light meal! ... ...different rooms, so you'll never feel you're in a crowded place! Every time I go there I feel like I'm entering in a whole new dimension. I recommend it to everyone who's coming to Lisbon and want to try a different evening. But if you're driving, is not a good solution. Go walking or take a taxi. It's in "Bairro Alto"! ...
