Advantages: right in the centre Disadvantages: small room- but thats Paris
I stayed in the Pavillon Louvre Rivoli- Paris for 3 nights on a work trip in November 2005. I was really impressed with the hotel's location- a ten minute walk from Galeries Lafayette, I was in heaven!
The desk staff in the hotel were very courteous and polite and there was a lift which was handy to get my bags to my room. My room was on the small side but as there was only me staying in the room (even though it was a double) I didnt mind, and paris is renowned for its small hotel rooms anyway.
The room was pleasantly decorated in pale yellow and terracotta shades, the bathroom was again very small but very clean and toiletries provided, plenty of hot water as well!
One thing slightly annoying was that on the first evening i reported the bedside lamp as not working, and despite reporting this again the next day it was still not ...
If you go to Paris and only see one thing, make sure its this. You will not be disappointed. It is quite simply stunning.

This chapel was the envy of Europe and probably copied in England and the Holy Roman Empire, to house their own relics. The chapel was meant to symbolise the close relationship between the French King and God, therefore the chapel is decorated with Fleur ...
Yves Saint Laurent's Touche Eclat has become known as the best highlighter money can buy, and that's not without reason. Yes, the brand name and packaging are appealing, but it's the miracle inside the shiny gold tube that you're paying for. And believe, me it's worth the money.
Before Touche Eclat, Yves Saint Laurent was not particularly well-known for its make-up line. Whilst many designer cosmetics are more style than substance, this is not true for Touche Eclat, which is more than a side-project for a major fashion house.
This product works as both a concealer, covering dark under-eye circles and as a highlighter, to accent areas such as cheekbones. The reason why it works so well is that it contains light reflecting particles with give your skin a natural, radiant glow, whereas other concealers and cover-ups effectively just ...
