I stayed on Saturday 25 October 2008 because of its (reasonably) close proximity to Earls Court where I was attending an exhibition.
There was another similar rated hotel behind the underground station but it was reported to be very noisy and I thought a 10 minute walk from hotel to destination would be refreshing, which it was.
This hotel is on a busy main road on the corner of a junction, but inside the big old building you were not really aware of this. I think the hotel just had about 14 rooms in total, so not a busy place.

Peckham Cinema was a much needed attraction for the area, although it is not located in an obvious part of Peckham it serves the community well by offering cultural movies as well as the latest block busters showing at the time. It is best to check online for what films are on offer before making a visit and if you can you should also try and book in advance because availability is not always so good. I would also try to avoid late night films or films ending late if you intend to leave by public transport. That part of Peckham is well known for late night crime incidents.

CASTLE LODGE
It was a family day out in Ludlow and whilst I was sitting resting on the bench, waiting for my hubby to return from checking the car and the parking fees, I noticed this really old Tudor style house opposite and on closer inspection discovered that it was open to the public. We didn?t go in straight away, but I did drop a big hint like, ?I want to go in there before we go home? to the family, so that they would not be surprised after the visit to the castle that we went in here.
After we had a lovely lunch in the café situated next door to the lodge after a amazing trip around the castle.
