Advantages: Cool air, calm, away from the touristy areas, spiritual, interesting, cultural. Disadvantages: Women have to cover their legs ... take a sarong as an easy skirt.

The first few times we ordered we were suitable impressed. The pizzas were always of a good quality, reasonably priced (as far as the extortionate prices that take-away pizzas are:o(!) arriving hot and very tasty. So what has happened to make us change our minds?
Well it all seems to have coincided with that advert campaign on telly extolling the new ‘HOT’ delivery service. You know the one with the Eskimo and the igloo? Well they’re not so hot in this part of the world:o(
A while ago when we ordered pizzas from them they stated that they were going to be about 40 minutes, about average for our store. Over an hour later they still hadn’t arrived. Just as we were about to ring and question them the door bell rang, well it would have done had we got one, but you know what I mean! Yet another different delivery guy...

Advantages: Charming combination of the old and the new give this resort something for everyone. Disadvantages: Heat oppressive at height of summer. Some areas rather loud and built up
...th century BC, these are some fairly impressive underground tombs carved from solid rock. Evidently the richer citizens and the aristocracy of the Ptolemy dynasty were buried here, and not any Kings as the name indicates. We had a wander around quite a few of these tombs, but it was really rather too hot and the site was very dry and dusty. As there are no catering facilities on site, it's a good idea to take some water with you. The entry fee is a mere CYP 1.
