Pelagos Bay is superb - the place, people and price are all fantastic. It is clean, well-run, and friendly. The staff take your bags to your room as soon as you arrive, and they continue to look after you all week. The pool is one of the best I have ever been in: big, clean and cool. The rooms are clean and come with free air conditioning which is very nice. All rooms are gauranteed to face the sea, and this makes for some lovely evenings on the balcony. This was a brilliant experience. I have stayed in Kefalonia before but this hotel was something different. I found that I had everything rolled into one: the cleanliness, the friendliness, the prices, the beautiful views over the Ionian sea. If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful, yet friendly holiday, Pelagos Bay Hotel is certainly the place. It is a Bed and Breakfast board basis and it is well worth the price. Pelagos Bay has been the best holiday I have ever had! Billy,Barbara,Yanni,asthper made our holiday! This was not my usual type of holiday but we have booked later in the year Pelagos Bay Hotel is 4km out of Scala centre about 20mins pleasant walk, I suggest a taxi for the return journey! Tip ask the driver before hand how much it should be no more than 5 euro. Book yourself in for the bbq night on thursdays and Sean plays mondays (very good) If you want proper greek kebab ask Billy or Yanni they will order them in for you Breakfast is simple toast coffee cornflakes but what more do you want ... more
