It is not easy to find the house
We arrived in Dubrovnik in the evening. We were tired and it was dark. The navigation system showed us a road which was forbidden for the car. I get out of the car, took the navigation system in my hands and started to follow the commands. I was really surprised when I saw that to reach the address I had to climb at least 100 steps. I didn't have any choice and I climbed the steps. After climbing all the steps, I understood that this was not the right street. I went down and I tried the next street with the same number of steps... :-) After the third try I found the street which was at least 200 steps far of the car.
At the end we found the address and we parked in fornt of the house in front of the house. The problem was that not all streets are right in the map of the navigation system.
Pension Stankovic
Pension Stankovic is an apartment with 2-3 rooms. One part of the apartment is for the owners and another part for the guests. There is a parking place in front of the house which is a big advantage.
Our room was not big enough for the tree beds and not very comfortable. There is a TV and internet. The bathroom is OK but there isn't any soap or shampoo.
The house is 400 m far of the old city but you must climb a lot of steps. It is not possible for people who are not trained.
The view is magnificent
There is a terrace with a magnificent view to the old city of Dubrovnik. All the rest regarding the conditions of life doesn't matter!
Breakfast is not included
Breakfast is not included in the price. If you want you may order a breakfast and drink a coffee.
People are very kind, you may use the kitchen and the dishes
There is a kitchen and you may use everything there. Don't forget to buy a food from the market in advance because you must klimb the steps again.
Wow, you must be fit simply to have found it up all those steps, let alone lugged luggage and stuff up too. Agreed that the view might be worth it, though.

We were in May 2009 for 3 nights. We paid 45 Euros per night for 2 adults and one child 6 years old.
