of the first hand begins, with each player trying to complete the first Phase of the 10 Phases. Each player can make only one Phase during the play of a hand. Phases are made of sets, run, cards all of one colour, or a combination of sets and runs. The 10 Phases are:
1) 2 Sets of 3
2) 1 set of 3 plus 1 run of 4
3) 1 set of 4 plus 1 run of 4
4) 1 run of 7
5) 1 run of 8
6) 1 run of 9
7) 2 sets of 4
8) 7 cards of 1 colour
9) 1 set of 5 plus 1 set of 2
10) 1 set of 5 plus 1 set of 3
Sets - these are cards of the same number I.E. 7,7,7 or 8,8,8,8.
Runs- these are cards that go up in numbers, I.E. A, 2,3,4,5 or 9,10,J, Q, K
Same colour- these are any cards that are all the same colour, these could be 7 red, 7 blue, 7 green, or 7 yellow.
The pack also consists of wild cards, which can be used to make up any of the phases, these cannot ...

Advantages: Good to look at, ease of use, folds away. Disadvantages: Possibly the price
One tip I can give for purchasing a highchair is to wait until your baby is born. I never realised that I would be weaning my daughter so early. Due to the fact that she couldn't sit unaided when I started to feed her solids, a wooden fixed seat (which is what I originally wanted) would not have been any good.
The Chicco Polly Double Phase highchair is brilliant. Not only is it a delight to look at (although my mother disagrees!), it is easy to use and fold away.
I purchased the highchair from Babies R Us with a £5 discount voucher for £95 but you can get it for about £84 on the Kiddicare website.
Its features include:
Four position reclining seat - this has been very handy due to my daughter's young age. It is apparently useful if your child falls asleep. Mine hasn't yet.
Several height positions - excellent for sitting ...

After hearing many recordings with phase pedals on i decided that this would be a great addition to my already large pedal collection!
this is the phase 90's big brother, and as theres only 2 dials on it, they do exactly what you need them to!
the two dials are Rate and Depth
Rate: the speed of the phasing
Depth: how high and low the different phases are
Using the rate control, you can control your phasing to be a dreamy slow rate- perfect for spacey solo or rhythm playing
setting it to quick sends it to an almost tremolo type setting, which can be used for something good im sure, although i have never really used it on the fastest setting?!
the depth control : although the changes are quite subtle they do have a difference to the phasing amount so you can get your own signature phasing style
