Advantages: Beautiful scenery, good food Disadvantages: Can be wet in the wet season

People in Thailand are very friendly and I read in a book that children have a very important place in the Thai lifestyle. This time we traveled with a Tonje who is only 3 years old and we noticed how fond the Thai’s are when it comes to children. People kept asking hername, trying to hug and cuddle and so on.

Advantages: Near perfection! Disadvantages: Sanitation can be basic!
...there is just a woman selling beer, rolls, coconut milk and very little else with limited shade in a blistering heat. The bay around the corner from Rai Lay (PhraNang Beach) is lisited as one of the top ten beaches in the world! I prefer Rai Lay or Chicken Island myself but frankly it's all Heaven!
Incidentally, I visited Krabi with 2 children under 10 and they are hassling me to go back!...

The breakfasts were a bit disappointing but we have found that to often be the case in Thailand - they make up for it with their other meals! There is also a massage area just next to Reception where we had a couple of good massages. The staff were very friendly.
We stayed in a deluxe room which we thought was gorgeous. It was a very large room with a double bed, balcony, toilet with bath and a huge walk-in shower, air conditioning. We stayed at this hotel in December 2005 and would have returned...
