Advantages: It's got everything imaginable Disadvantages: Not enough time to fit everything in
...Before I begin my op, I thought I had better mention that some of you reading this, may have already read my op on Bangkok, so I do apologise for covering some old ground, with the price, dates and weather etc.
My husband and I went to Thailand in October 2001. We went on a two centre holiday, staying in Bangkok for 4 nights, and Phuket for 10. October is the end of the rainy season, so we had a bargain with the price, and as for the actual weather there, it was great. Yes we did have the occasional downpour, but they never lasted too long, and they certainly didn’t spoil our time there. The temperature was in the mid to high 80’s everyday, but it was very humid. (Thank goodness for air-con!).
We booked our holiday with Thomas Cook Signature Holidays, for approximately £1500.00. This price included return flights...

Advantages: Stunning scenery, beautiful people, cheap prices and safe. Disadvantages: Long flight
...Last spring my girlfriend and I were planning a holiday. We wanted a destination that offered excitement, cultural diversity, natural beauty and above all was affordable. Advantages: cheap, colouful Disadvantages: bit sleazy, especially at night
...we spent two weeks in Phuket after visiting Bangkok and Chiang Mai. It was absolute paradise! We stayed in the Patong Merlin hotel which was so luxurious by European standards. I have to say that having travelled round the island that Patong would not be my choice for subsequent trips, there are much nicer resorts. However Patong has a lot to offer. The restaurants were varied and cheap. We ate dinner for the equivalent of £1 each! Many shops and street traders with a bewildering array of consumer goodies and of course fake designer stuff everywhere. Bargaining is expected and due to the language barrier this is done using calculators. Great fun and a wonderful holiday all round....

It seems almost criminal that Sam Duckworth, aka Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly, seems to have passed so many people by. The singer songwriter from Southend is an incredible talent and this, his debut album, only serves to further that boast. His name seems to more
