Full Moon, Half Moon.... Fuuuull Moon Party & More
Advantages: Full Moon, amazing sunrise, beach, relaxing times Disadvantages: Not much to do, the aftermath of the party
Yet again, I’m back with more gushing reviews of what I consider to be one of the most beautiful countries I have ever seen. Thailand was by far my overall favourite country in South East Asia, combining lovely people, excellent food, fantastic places, peaceful religious beliefs and a wonderful way of life that we westerners can only aspire to. Last year we took a break from work and the UK weather to languish on sunny beaches, climb volcanoes, eat ... ...well and relax – and experienced all of these. The reviews I have written around SEA are all from January – May which we found was an excellent time to travel there.
WHY VISIT KHO PHA NGAN?
Undoubtedly one of the main reasons people come to this island is the world-renowned ‘Full Moon’ Party, and this was certainly why we came here. We just wanted to see what it was all about as people kept raving about it (pun intended) - we enjoyed the experience ...

Phuket - excellent scenary
Advantages: Good transport links, Excellent scenary Disadvantages: None
...--- the BASICS --- Phuket is in the south of Thailand. As there are lots of tourists it is well connected to Bangkok and some planes may even fly directly into the area from regional airports. The area is famous for its stunning beauty and unspoiled beaches. --- PLACES to visit --- The Phang Nga Bay National park, located in the heart of Phuket is a wonderful scenic route. There are 42 strange shaped islands mostly formed by limestone. A Bond movie ... ...join a boat tour from Phuket or to paddle (hire) a canoe. There are also some day-cruising trips passing through these limestone islands with various stops for tourists to enjoy the quiet and beautiful beaches. Taking a boat trip to the Pan Yee Island will see the sheer vertical limestone cliffs of the beautiful Phang Nga Bay. There are some floating restaurants and the one on the pier is worth a try. Its decoration is quite unique with shells hanging ...

lovely island shame about the westeners
Advantages: Beautiful beaches Disadvantages: to many westeners
Here we go again with another review of Thailand.
Samui is in the south of the country on the east coast on the Gulf of Thailand. If you want a map, message me and i will let you have the link as i am not allowed to post in this message
I went to Samui last year with my sister and my Thai wife. We booked into a levely resort hotel called sand sea resort. 30 Quid a night for a room with a four poster bed cable tv and a bath that took five hours ... ...have got 8 people in there no problem.
We were on the beach in Llamii (think that is spelt correctly)
The usual as far as food is concerned with Thailand (see my previous posts) the only difference being that everything is slightly more expensive because you are on an Island.
There are several routes to the island, the one we choose was to fly purely because we were on a tight timescale. The flights cost about 60 pounds return, booked through ...

Great diving locations, but lacks other activities...
Advantages: Excellent diving Disadvantages: Not much else to do but dive.
...scene is smaller than neighbouring Ko Samui there is still some fun to be had, though the general atmosphere is more low key. If you go to Koh Tao without any interest in diving then you may well feel left out as it often feels the dive centres have a monopoly on the accommodation and you can feel pressured by them to take at least one dive. The island's small size and lack of caves or forest means there is not that much else to do but dive. Motorbikes ...

Hua Hin
I lived in Hua Hin in Thailand for a while and thought it was time to write a review of my experience of the place. I have included the conversion from English £ to Thai baht to give you a rough idea when I'm mentioning cost further into the review.
1 British pound = 49.9982745 Thai baht
Hua Hin is in the province of Prachuap Khiri Khan with a population of around 60,000 people. The name means 'Head Rock', which comes from the large rock ... ...Khao Takiab beach. Hua Hin is a reasonably small town, which is approximately 3 hours South in a taxi from Bangkok (which will cost you about 1500 - 2200 baht) on the west coast of the Gulf of Thailand. You can also access the town by train or by small plane as Hua Hin has both a small airport and a railway station. The resort was discovered in the early 1920s by King Rama VII as an ideal getaway from the hectic metropolis of Bangkok, it is Thailand's ...
