Advantages: Beautiful City, lots to see & do Disadvantages: None
...such as Gucci, Louis Vouiton and the like. Don't just use this street though, there are many great little shops tucked away in little side streets.
*** People ***
The people of Verona are really friendly, try a bit of Italian, if they notice you are struggling, they will speak English.
Sitting in any of the squares with a coffee watching the world go by is great! See the tourists mix with the locals,
*** Eating ***
Yes you can eat well in Verona, in fact you can eat well in most of Italy! The majority of restaurants are around the 2 main squares, Piazza Bra - this is more geared to tourists, so the prices are quite high, or PiazzaErbe, this again is very tourist orientated, and expensive.
Walk slightly off the beaten track, and you will be rewarded with some fantastic places to eat. San Matteo Church, just near Porta dei...

Advantages: amazing history, beautiful sights Disadvantages: somewhat crowded at times
...can hold around 22,000 people, it didn't need anywhere near that many to hold the maybe 4,000 people that had come to see the opera. While I hated the opera, it was pretty interesting to see performed.
The Madonna Verona
This is actually nothing more than a really cool, really old fountain with a massive statue on top of it. Apparently it has a pretty cool history behind it, all that I know is it is pretty old and is great for some pictures. It is located in the PiazzaDelleErbe.

~What's there?~
To be honest - not much, Snarf & I weren't actually particularly bothered about visiting Juliet's house, but we had us a Verona Card (a card that costs 8 euros, entitling you to "free" entry into all Verona's museums, churches, monuments & free travel on local AMT buses for that day, a card valid for 3 days is available...

This Laptop is an very solid machine. I say this because usually when I pick a laptop up first thing I notice is the need for power and a time delay to load the windows, its like you have to handle the laptop carefully just in fear of delaying the start more
