Went there in July 2011 as part of a package with twenties holiday, without a doubt one of the highlights of our holiday. The acrobat stunts performed are out of this world, we watched with our... more

5 Stars Ahoy! It's a great night! Review with images 13/09/2008

    Advantages Advantages Fun, unlimited sangria

Disadvantages Disadvantages Food is very average and costs can be big for a family

I went on a clubbing holiday to Maguluf back in 2000 and then again in 2005 and both times I was there myself and my friends went to the Pirates show. So I thought I'd share my thoughts on this show with everyone as it really is an excellent evening out! What is it? The show is a mix of entertainment including acrobatics, music, dancing and staged fight scenes between groups of pirates. The whole evening takes place in an arena where guests enjoy the show whilst being served dinner and drinks. The show is quite action packed and also quite fast paced too with lots of audience involvement. The ... more

5 Stars A Pirate's life for me! Review with images 18/08/2009
    User recommends the product

Advantages Advantages Exceptional show of acrobatics and entertainment, unlimited free sangria and soft drinks!

Disadvantages Disadvantages Merchandise is extortionate, food is only so so

"Good evening ladies and gentleman my name is Sir Francis Drake and I will be your Captain for this evening. Whenever you see me I would like you to shout my name and make as much noise as you can". This is how our Pirate's Adventure began. The show is situated in the centre of Magalluf, Mallorca and is very easy to get to by taxi or bus. Taxis are quite expensive with the majority being "Hackney" style so buses are the best bet with loads running from pretty much every part of the island for only a few euros each. Queueing up for the show is a bit of a chore as not only do you get hammered by ... more

    Advantages Advantages None

Disadvantages Disadvantages Air Con is non existent in the Balcony Area

The Pirates Show is overpriced and over-rated!!!!!!!! So BEWARE Our tickets cost 120 Euros for two adults and one child. Bought our tickets through our hotel reception (Hawaii Hotel – Palma Nova) and ended up seated in the balcony. The first thing we noticed was the “bench seating” arrangements where the seats on one side of the table face the stage and the seats on the other side of the table face the back of the hall. Guess which way we (and many others) were facing – yes, we sat for the whole show facing away from the stage. We had to twist our bodies for the duration of the show and all I ... more

Disadvantages Disadvantages A bit more food

We went to see the Pirate show in July. We paid for the tickets on line before we went. We decided to push to boat out and have seats in the quater deck, they cost 217.00 euros for 2 adults and 2 children. We exchanged our e-ticket for a pirate one, bought a programme for 5 euros, then joined the shorter of the 2 queues, most of this is out in the open so be prepared to stand in the sun. Before long, we were able to purchase a pirate bandana for 5 euros to keep the sun of the kids heads. The kids get a goody bag, on entering the theatre, in it is some pirate cards for the pirate captians to ... more

Advantages Advantages Fantastic show for all

Disadvantages Disadvantages Sharing food with strangers

We went to see the Family Pirate show in July. We all had a fantastic time, me my partner and 2 children age 12 and 7. We watched the show from the Quarter deck, and to be honest i dont think there is much difference between what you get for your money. The kids got a goody bag, which was some cards with the pirates on, for them to autograph, a pen and some gold choc coins. (Tip eat them there, as they melt fast). We were on the ground floor and the main deck was on a balcony. You start by having your food, which was chicken, sausage, chips and beans, there was also a bowl of salad. This was ... more
