I tried the new Pizza Hut Express in Eldon Square last week. It is cheap but there isn't much of a range. There are 4 varieties of small pizza, including cheese & tomato and vegetable supreme.
The veg supreme pizza cost £2.69. However for another £1.10 I got a Meal Deal with a small salad with croutons and dip and "unlimited" soft drink. You can get spicy chips if you don't want a salad but the portions looked rather small.
I had 2 cups of pop for my money. However the second time I filled it, a member of staff gave me a quizzical look. I'm not sure why!
The other "deals" include Pizza and chips for £2.99 and the Under 12s' meal for £2.50. This deal is cheese and tomato pizza with "unlimited" helpings from the Ice Cream Factory.
Side dishes cost 99p.
The building is barely functional, with very little room to sit and there is certainly not much room for a wheelchair or pram.
However, if you want a quick meal without the frills (and you can takeaway if you want), this is much nicer, cheaper and healthier than certain other "fast food" places. I enjoyed what I was eating.
Good review. Shame about the crampness though. I love going one of the 4 Preston Pizza Hut's, but I live 10-15 miles away from it, so I only go to it when I'm going to Preston in general. Ian

Been there. Too long a queue, didn't bother.

I've never heard of Pizza Hut Express, either. I prefer getting my pizza delivered, although we very rarely bother anymore.
