I have visited pizza huts in Glasgow, Edinburgh and a few towns located outside the city so I think I have been to enough pizza huts to write an opinion!

Getting Seated -------- The pizza huts that I have visited all open at 12 noon. In the city branches I have had to queue on a couple of occasions, especially at lunchtime. In the others I have had no problem in getting a seat straight away. Inside is very spacious. The tables are not close to each so you have enough room to eat your meal.
Menu -------- There is an excellent variety of food on the menu, especially if your like me and go with people that don’t like pizzas!
When it comes to picking your pizza, you have a number of choices to make from the pizza base, size and what to have on it.
There are 4 different types of bases to pick from:
1.The Edge - Crisp, very thin base with loads of thick-cut toppings cut into 16 easy-to-eat pieces. Available in Medium & Large only.
2.Grand Pan – Light and fluffy inside and crisp, crunchy and golden brown outside. Available in Individual, Medium & Large (this is my favourite)
3.The Italian - Light, crisp Italian pizza base, traditionally hand finished with flour. Available in Individual, Medium & Large
4.Stuffed Crust - Soft, melted cheese rolled into the light garlic finished crust. Available in Large only.
The disadvantage is that, as you can see, some of these bases are only available when you order a large pizza.
So what to have on your pizza. You have an excellent choice to pick from:
.Country Feast - Green peppers, mushrooms, red onions, sweetcorn and tomato chunks .Cheese Feast - Extra portion of 3 cheeses and 2 toppings of your choice .Pepperoni Feast – Twice as much cheese and pepperoni .Meat Feast - Spicy beef, spicy pork, ham and pepperoni .Chicken Feast - Chargrilled chicken .Super Supreme - Spicy beef, spicy pork and pepperoni with olives, ham, mushrooms, green peppers and red onions .Vegetable Supreme - Green peppers, mushrooms, red onions and tomato chunks .Supreme - pepperoni spicy beef, mushrooms, green peppers and red onions .Chicken Supreme - Chargrilled chicken, mushrooms, green peppers and red onions .Spicy Hot One - Spicy Beef, green chillies, red onions and tomato chunks .Vegetarian Hot One - Double chillies, green peppers, red onions and tomato chunks .Farmhouse - Ham and mushrooms Hawaiian - Ham and pineapple
Prices for these pizzas range from £4.99 to £5.99 for the small, £6.99 to £8.99 for the medium and £8.99 to £10.99 for the large. The small serves 1 person, medium serves 1 to 2 people and large serves 2 to 4 people.
You can also create your own pizza. This is where you get a Margherita, which is basically a Cheese and tomato pizza and pick your toppings from a choice of sweetcorn, mushrooms, green chillies, red onions, black olives, pineapple, green peppers, tomato chunks, extra cheese, spicy beef, pepperoni, ham, spicy pork, chargrilled chicken, tuna, anchovies, cajun chicken. This cost £3.99 for the small Margherita, £5.99 for the medium Margherita and £7.99 for the large Margherita. Each topping costs 90p for a small pizza, 95p for a medium pizza and £1.00 for a large pizza.
As starters or sides you can order Garlic bread, Garlic bread with Cheese, Cheesy Bread, Cheesy Bites, BBQ Chicken Wings, Salad Bowl, Crispy Coated Mushrooms, Potato Wedges and Potato Skins. Prices range from £1.99 to £2.99. I would recommend the coated mushrooms, they are to die for.
If you don’t fancy a pizza then they also serve Lasagne, Spicy Chicken Pasta Bake, Tangy Tomato and Cheese Pasta Bake and salad bowls/plates. Prices from £2.99 to £5.95. I had the lasagne once, personally it was quite a big serving which left no room for desert!
There is a buffet available Monday to Friday lunchtime. Costs £5.49 for an adult and £2.99 for a child. When you order this you can help yourself to any of the delicious pizzas, pastas and salads.
They serve a variety of soft drinks as well as alcoholic beverages and tea/coffee. Whenever I have gone you pay for a soft drink and get as many free refills as you like but the glasses are quite large so I have never managed more than 2.
If you have room left, there is always desert. You have a large selection - Chocolate Fudge Cake, New York Style Baked Cheesecake, Ruffled by Chocolate, Lemon Dome Cake, Double Chocolate Sundae, Tropical Fruit Sundae and Ice Cream. There is an ice cream factory where you can eat as much ice cream as you like in unlimited amounts smothered with lots of sauces and toppings. I have never any room left for these so I cannot comment but they do look good.

Advantages: Great range to pick from. Prices are reasonable though I have been to pizza places that are cheaper. In the town branches I am always able to get a seat and in the city branches I had to queue outside a few times but most of the time the queue isn’t that large and you can get inside and wait. They have a seating area for you to sit. Our waiter was always asking us if everything was ok, which I liked.
Disadvantages:
When I have had the buffet there was never enough pizza and the salad bar is normally messy and empty.
On a few occasions the cutlery has been dirty and sometimes I find myself having to ask for cutlery, as there was none on my table.
To Finish --------
Overall I must say that I still love pizza hut but I feel it could improve on its buffet, i.e. the amount of food could be increased and maybe a few more staff would help. But this won’t stop me going there, I mean, come on its pizza!
Advantages: Nice menu Disadvantages: extremely poor customer services
...have been around to various Pizza hut in Glasgow, Usually there are long queues, and if you do get seated you normally have to wait quite a long time before you get asked if you want to order something. Particularly Pizza Hut, Braehed, where once we had to go up to the staff and request if someone could come take our order. Recently had a bad experience with Pizza hut in Braehead, we were not fully served our order and when we explained to the Manager ...
