MONTE TORRO
Convent on top of the highest point in Menorca offering wonderful views of the island. There is a very large statue of Jesus and a shop and cafe run by the nuns. It is a strenuos drive up to the top but worth it.
FIRST CHOICE
We found them a good company to book with. We didn't prebook seats but arrived 3 hours before the flight so get seated together. On the way back we paid £12 to sit together. The rep in resort was useful and avaliable when needed and the excursions offered and welcome meeting were good. We would recommend them and book with them again.
OVERVIEW

I have just returned back today from Menorca, and had such a fantastic time, I wanted to share my experience in case anyone is looking for a brilliant holiday in the near future.
Myself and my partner arrived in Mahon (the recently made capital of Menorca) on 4th May 2007. We were travelling with Thomas Cook, and had booked a week in the Valentin Star Hotel (4*) located in Cala N Bosch on the South west Coast of Menorca. We had booked half board, which also included in flight meals. Booking about 6 months in advance, and booking online via the internet, the entire package for 2 of us cost the bargain price of under £500! I believe we saved about £400 by booking online. Transfers were also included, and all in all, the service was quick, efficient, and with friendly staff.

Advantages: peaceful Disadvantages: .....almost too peaceful
but as I was to find out over the next few days "When it rains in Menorca - there is literally nothing to do!" The first 3 days consisted of rain, and visits down to the hotel bar. I admired the reps for attempting to keep everyone upbeat but there's only so many pub quiz's you can do in a day! During the first part of our holiday our highlights were a wet 10 minute walk to the local supermarket (2 supermarkets and 1 pub were all we shared the resort with - we weren't to discover the pub til towards the end of the holiday) and with luck being on our side we also discovered we could pick up BBC in our apartment. The rain thrashing down outside, watching Eastenders in the apartment with a Jack Daniels & Coke......I kept thinking why I had spent money to come to Menorca to do this when it was pretty much an average night back at home ...
