Advantages: Perfect location, excellent Hotel if you just want somewhere to sleep Disadvantages: A little hard to find, nothing really major though, Breakfast could have been more substantial

...Barcelona, sea, shops, sights and nighlife, it has them all. It's perfect for someone traveling on a budget, although if your backpacking there in summer and want somewhere to sleep arrive early or pre-book or you may have problems.
Must do's include La Sagrada Familia - built by Gaudi and never finished, PlacaReial is a good place to have a drink on an evening and the Ramblas are a good place to take a walk on an afternoon when your too hot on the beach.
Also don't forget to take a day trip to the Salvador Dali museum at Figueras....
