Advantages: Free Delirium Tremens beer Disadvantages: The hangover next morning
...The Order of the Pink Elephant - named after the character from the bottle of Delirium Tremens is a group of beer fanatics. In August - usually towards the end of the month, the Manneken Pis will "urinate" Delirium Tremens and there is free and lethal beer on offer. The whole event, along with an oompah band is organised by the owner of the Poechenellenkelder, and is a great event, although the beer takes an effect on you pretty quickly. The event isn't advertised, but if you ask in the Poechenellenkelder, they are more than happy to inform you. I would recommend this as a great knees up and a very pleasant afternoon....
