Polanczyk Village, Lesko

Polanczyk is a spa town in the Bieszcady mountains close to Lake Solina. It is the starting point for some exciting trails into the mountains and also a haven for water sports enthusiasts. You can reach the town by bus from Wolkowyja; the journey takes approximately 15 minutes. As soon as you get off the bus you will notice that the town has a bustling, holiday feel to it. In Wolkowyja everyone was dressed in shorts and hiking boots mostly carrying a rucksack on their shoulders. In the south-east of Poland, several kilometres to the south of Solina is the reservoir's other main resort Polanczyk, made up of the part of the town on the hill where the majority of locals live and Polanczyk Zdroj the more tourist orientated lakeside part with hotels, restaurants and activities available. Buses stop in both parts of the town, the first stop on the hillside where there is a crossroads, is the best place for visitors to do their shopping with two supermarkets with a rather wide range of items.
