Ponderosa is extremely good value for money, the it is all buffet style but you can if you wish order from the menu if you wish, but, to be honey there is no need to unless you are wanting a steak, there is everything you can think of in the buffet.
You can go for breakfast, dinner or tea.
Breakfast is around $4.99, and all you have to pay for is the drinks on top of this, the children go free under 12
The choices are good : - Breakfast – you can have cereal (lots of different ones), sausages (these are like hot dog style), bacon (this is a bit crispy), yoghurts, cakes – Madeira cake mainly - the cakes were all fresh and lovely and soft. You also got a rack of toast and jam on your arrival to your table, and when leaving you got a plate full of mints.
Dinner was $5.99 to $6.99 depending on what time and what you wanted
Dinner – this was a good choice too, there were steak & onion in gravy, sausages in gravy, salad, again you good bread on your arrival. There were potatoes and every kinds of vegetables you could think of, they had steak pies, chips (or fries as they are known in Florida).
Then they have puddings and cakes – and there a lots of these, all different types of cakes, and puddings like rice puddingchocolate cake etc.
It also has a shop and at the bottom of your receipt you can claim a free key ring (it is in small letters at the bottom of the receipt). The shop sells teddies, t-shirts, towels, pens, cups, ornaments, earings etc.
Also to the left of the entrance to the shops near the toilets (this is the ponderosa in Florida) there are coupon booklets – I recommend you take some of these, they are free, you get discount off of other restaurants in Florida for meals and clothes like 10% off Sheplers – which is a shop that specialises in Boots and belts.
All in all this is good value for money and clean. I would recommend this to anyone.
I would recommend that if you want to go for a breakfast that you get there early because it gets very full very quickly, and if you are a large group the chances of you getting sat together are not good. We went my parents, and in total they were six ans we had to spilt up because there was enough room.
