Popoyo Beach, Nicaragua

Advantages: Lush, green & refreshing!
Disadvantages: Ca be wet at times

...I was planning a day and a half for the Monteverde cloud forest and ended up staying a week. There is a lot to do, and the area is very safe and comfortable. I've been in Nicaragua and Honduras (I liked these places too), but there is no way you can wander safely for hours by yourself, in the jungle, like you can do in Monteverde. Plenty of well maintain and marked trails, great diversity (primary forest, secondary forest, pre-mountain forest, waterfalls, etc.) and many other things to do like Sky Trek, a new canopy tour ( 11 zip lines, 3 suspended bridges, a observation tower, and 2 miles of lush trails, about 3 hours: $35) that was the most thrilling thing I did in Costa Rica ( the "original canopy tour" is overpriced at $45, and last only 1h15, 3 zip lines ). Advantages: Adventure on the river
Disadvantages: Sad feeling

..., is the feeling that the ancient Maya culture must have been very mystic. I personally believe we cannot appreciate today what it was since no meaningful remain of it is left. The descendents of the maya people we find in the villages in Honduras, Nicaragua or Belize, are, in my view, the sad consequence of the colonization of this continent.... Read review

Advantages: Many beaches and places to go
Disadvantages: You will not want to leave

...Aruba is incredible. If you go to Aruba you will have to go for a swim at the beautiful beaches.If you like the beach you can go to "Palm Beach", "Druif Beach", "Eagle Beach". Or you can just stop for a swim at any beach that you past by. Some places that you can go to hang out or have a couple of drinks are, "Cuba's Cookin', "black hog saloon", Garufa cigar and cocktail lounge". In Aruba you can go for a ride on "Banana bus" or "Kukoo Kunuku". If you are looking for a cheap place to stay you can stay at some affordable places like, "Talk of the town beach resort", "casa del mar beach resort", or "Amsterdam manor beach resort".
