Acqua Palace
Advantages: Clean, modern, fun slides, great day out Disadvantages: Not as large as I thought it would be
Myself and my boyfriend visited Tunisia in May 2008 and while we were there we decided to take a walk into the main town, where we found Acqua Palace.
About Acqua Palace
Acqua Palace as you would imagine, is a water park and it's the only water park in Port El Kantaoui. It was closed for a while in 2007 while renovation works were carried out and it opened its doors again for the summer season of 2008, boasting bigger, better and faster slides.
... ...walk from the main town of Port l Kantaoui. It is not very well signposted but we still found it very easy to find.
Prices
Admission was 15 dinars for adults which works out at £7.50. Prices for children were 7.50 dinars which is about £3.00. I thought the prices were very reasonable and although the park is not massive, I still felt the prices offered us good value for money.

The first thing I noticed about Acqua Palace was ...

Parc Oasis Zoo and Botanical Park
Advantages: Cheap entrance, interesting attraction, great for animal lovers Disadvantages: Quite small
Parc Oasis Zoo and Botanical Park is located in the resort of Port El Kantoui in Tunisia.
Location
Parc Oasis Zoo and Botanical Park is located right in the centre of Port El Kantoui about a 2 minute walk away from the main shopping square and the Marina. I have to admit that this attraction isn't too well signposted and we actually stumbled across it by accident as we were taking a walk around the town.
Cost
Entrance to this attraction was actually ... ...8pm every day.
Inside Parc Oasis Zoo and Botanical Park
At the entrance to the park there is a large table with a man sitting behind it, this is where you need to pay for your entrance into the park. Also here, you are offered food for the animals, there are 2 different types of food, some sort of pellets that are suitable for the camels and goats and then there is corn for the birds. Each bag only cost 1 dinar so we bought a bag of each.
On the ...

Port El Kantaoui Zoo, Tunisia
Advantages: Cheap Entry Fee, Plenty Of Shade Disadvantages: Limited Amount Of Animals
...This place is called the Parc Oasis Zoo and Botanical Park and is situated right in the heart of the Resort close to the Marina and the main square. Entry into the Zoo for Adults costs 5 Dinars (£2) with half price admission for Children.
From the outside this place looks rather small so my expectations were not particularly high, but because of the low cost I decided that it was worth a visit. As you enter into the Zoo there is a small wooden hut ... ...through a turnstile. The first thing that greets you are a couple of Camels which you can stroke or stand and pose with for a photograph. Following the footpath, which meanders through the Park you then come across a whole variety of different Animals. These include Rabbits and Guinea Pigs, Ducks, Geese, Parrots, Pheasants, Guinea Pigs, Lovebirds and Zebra Finches. Elsewhere along the route there are also Ostriches, Emus, and Goats.
All of the Animals ...
