I stayed here for two weeks at the beginning of august. The staff are very friendly and always strike up a conversation with you as you are passing through reception. the aparentments are located close to the centre of the resort and about a 1 minute walk to the beach. was very disapointed about the size of the pool area. there are about 40 sunbeds and for more than 200 rooms is not enough. there were 3 parasols for all of these beds. was very crwded. the 'kitchen' was poorly equipt and want very clean. however, there was a great minimarket at reasonable prices and much to do outside the hotel, which is good meaning we didnt spend much time there. we also found the pool bar was enclosed - not what the brochure said, so it got rather stuffy. apart from that great holiday was had , would recommend kos and the resort, but not the hotel ...
Advantages: quiet location, near beach,easy reach of Kos town centre Disadvantages: bar closed at set time and lights were turned out even if you had 1 or 2 drinks keft
We stayed here Sept 2005 for 1 week.the location was excellent 5-10mins walk to Kos town centre and about 5 mins to the main beach. our room was a studio and was very large compared to the other studios i've stayed in before. the room had a tv but only showed greek programmes although there was mtv as well. we had plenty of space for all our things and if we had wanted to, there was a large dining table as well. snack bar was very reasonable had a decent menu and food was prepared nice and quick and was always piping hot., pool was quite small definitley not for those who like a decent swim- i was ok as i use the pool to cool down in. bar closed every nt bout 1am regardless of how many people were around and all the lights were turned off as well so we were left in the dark on a couple of occasions with 1 or 2 drinks! bottle of mthos ...
Advantages: On the sea, clean, good food, kind assistance Disadvantages: Hot sun!!!
Hello from Italy. The Norida Beach Hote is simply fantastic. You can get a lot of fun there. The hotel is a five star but I think that four star is the correct level. The rooms are always clean and nice (mine was on the sea side and believe me...it was great!). Food is various and good (try the pizza! simply as in Italy!). I have been at the Norida from 3 of june to 17 of june. No problem at all. I have read many negative comments and I do not understand why. The so called "cardiac hill" is a hill but you can do it without great problem. All staff is kind and comprehensive with you. You can also use a free bus to Karmadena (book it early to find seats!).
