...and marina* The entire Sani resort is made up of the Sani beach hotel, the Sani beach club, the Asterias suites, Porto Sani village and the marina. The Sani resort and marina is completely man made and has therefore been planned with precision to make the ultimate holiday resort. The location is perfect and the Greek sunshine completes the scenario perfectly. The harbour area houses many visiting luxury boats and is surrounded by bars, restaurants and shops. Expect to find relatively up market clientele here as Sani as a whole is a five star resort and luxury is the key word. There are at least twenty shops/boutiques in the marina area selling hand made glass, jeweler, clothes and gifts to name but a few. Advantages: Not far from Bolton retail park, infinity pool, facitlies are excellent
Disadvantages: staff weren't as helpful as other hotels

...We received an email from Macdonald to say they had special offers on certain hotels so we looked into them further. We chose this one as it had a wide range of facilities and was only an hour away from where we live so was a nice weekend break. When we arrived, the place was quaint. It is an old fashioned little village, complete with tea rooms, pub, bakery, and various other little shops. We were told we could check in from 1 so we arrived for 1 and were told that the room wasn't ready so we went into the tea rooms for afternoon tea. We went back to reception at 2 and were told that our room still wasn't ready so to wait in the lounge or have a wander round. There was no apology for the delay. Advantages: Lovely swimming pool, Sea Views, Quiet area, Good Breakfasts
Disadvantages: Rocky Beach, Unhelpful staff on reception, Far from Paphos Centre

...First impressions not good due to very unhelpful and rude staff at check in. Reception area itself though was lovely with atrium design and small bar with comfie seating. Beach kart helps you to your apartment which gives the impression that the complex is vast..it isn't and infact you feel a little foolish driving such a small distance! Rooms clean and comfortable and lovely if you look onto beach wonderful wildlife at night with bats flying past. Rooms quiet due to the fact that resort centre (paphos) is about 10-15 mins walk away. Bit of a hairy walk due to mad drivers but there is a path that goes form the beach and avoids all roads but it is very sandy and may prove heavy going with buggy. Also very hot with no shade or facilities so not practical in middle of the day. We went self catering but recommend that you try... Read review
