The combination of sea, sun and unique and delicious dishes will make you think that Poseidon(Neptune) has created this place by striking his trident on the rocks so that his faithful subjects, the lovers of the sea, can rest after their joyous play with the water.

Especially if you've been to other Islands such as Rhodes or Kos because as nice as these others are, they can not compere with the lush cypress and olive groves that cover the majority of Corfu's interior.

Advantages: Friendly, close to everything, clear waters Disadvantages: Shingle beach

Dont book through your rep, get the bus yourself or go to one of tthe cheaper booking shops and you can get there for about 4 or 5 euros. Restaurants quite good choice, and the shops are different, but not as cheap as you might expect. A lot of fake gucci's, etc. Worth a look, but not worth spending a whole day up there. Best time to go is at night. (after 5ish)

Kassiopi is set on a beautiful natural harbour, with fishing boats moored along a couple of small piers, and some fabulous restaurants lining the sea front. The Albanian coast is just 2 miles away, and on a clear day the poignantly bleak, concrete tower blocks of the Albanian town of Saranda, with snow-capped mountains beyond, can be seen from across the channel. Like much of Corfu, the area surrounding Kassiopi is covered in trees and olive groves, and consequently very green. The coastline is exquisitely beautiful, with aquamarine water lapping against white rocks, and there are a number of coves and beaches nearby, some pebbled and others sandy.
THE VILLA: Meon's brochure had suggested Villa Apanemia...
