Advantages: Too many to list in this small box Disadvantages: none
...The best all round Pousada in Jeri: No fuss, just all the basics done well - excellent, comfortable, spotless rooms, relaxing peaceful atmosphere and a nice mix of personal space and community feel. It doesn't stop there. Patricia & Marcio make you feel so welcome and take the very best care of all their guests - it has to be experienced to be believed. They have thought of every detail and more.
Just the place you want to return to after a day of action on the water or exploring this incredible part of the world.
Its so good that I'm recommending it as a place for my clients to stay. My girlfriend and I can't wait to return and hopefully we will do soon!
Unmissable

...Saquarema. Although I am not Brazilian, I know Brazil extremely well. When I saw Saquarema on this website, out of curiosity, I send some emails to my friends in Brazil. Here is what I gathered from the locals. Saquarema is a bit of an ecologic area. Polluting activities are forbidden both inland and in the sea in that area. The main attractions are, clearly, nature. You can visit the plantations of fruits inland, or you can go to the beach, which are never too crowded. Only a friend of mine had been there personally doing surf and he recommends it for those who like this activity. A place to stay which was recommended is Pousada Da Mansao, an old house which has been converted. Once you are there the locals will tell you where to go...

Advantages: Quiet, family friendly, fun, good value, reliable, safe Disadvantages: If you mind, a five minute walk from the village
...I loved staying at Bela Vista. I have read another review on this that is completely opposite of my experience. The owners are the nicest, most laid back people on the face of the earth. I actually could not pay my bill on departure in cash (not many ATMs in Jeri) as I had agreed and they were fine with me making my transfer upon my return to my country. I loved it that their Pousada is set some way out of the village (Jeri has a very lovely night life which is good on most nights but sometimes you want to sleep long and deep). The walk from the village to the Pousada is very brief and pleasant and I was always offered to be be brought or picked up by horse carriage.
I am sure they may sometimes get a kickback from some of the providers of services to guests in their hotel (this is Brazil!) but they go to great lenghts of selecting...

Up until a couple of months ago I didn’t really pay too much attention to my daily skincare – of course I used intensive masks and face washes to keep my skin clear and spot-free but I never bothered moisturising. However, as I decided I would like to... more
"Do You Want More?!!!??!" is the second album from the jazzy Hip Hop band, The Roots. This one comes in 1995, two years after their debut release "Organix" came out, and between these years a couple of changes could be observed as the group no longer... more
