Music, music, this is the only impression that is deeply stamped in my memory after my first visit to Prague a couple of years ago.
Prague is the city of music. Plenty of concerts, musicals and operas, huge or small, everyday everywhere. It seems like Prague will not be alive without music! It is the soul of Prague. i believe that many locals are well 'musically' educated as i find that many locals carry a musical instrument in their hands, especially violin.
Further more, the tickets are relatively cheap as compared to England and the performers are very profesional. I generously give thumb ups to all the concerts and operas that I have been to. This is what we want, isn't it? Especially for budget travellers like myself.
Besides, there are lots of music shops where you can find good quality musical instruments and scores. And I came back with a hand craft violin and plenty of music scores. However, they are written in Prague language. I don't understand a word!
If you love music, you will love Prague.
