Premier Travel Inn - Preston East

Advantages: close to the motorway, cheap
Disadvantages: TOO close to the motorway!

We have recently travelled up to Scotland from Devon and on the way home needed to break up the 12 hour journey. We stopped at Premier Travel Inn - Preston East. This Travel Inn is literally right beside the southbound motorway near junction 31a northbound. We were travelling Southbound, so had to come off at junction 31, join the northbound and come off at junction 31a. PRICE ++++++ We paid £48 for a room which is Friday to Sunday rates. Monday to Thursday would cost £51. BOOKING ++++++++ We had an AA Road Atlas with us and also a directory of all the Premier Travel Inn's in the country. This is a very handy booklet as it has directions and location for each Travel Inn. I telephoned the Inn and was put through to a central number as they were busy. They took a provisional booking and the Travel Inn called me ...

premier travel inn(charing cross glasgow)

Advantages: very central
Disadvantages: very busy at times

Living in England these past twenty years but coming from scotland i frequently have to travelto glasgow ad have had the pleasure of staying at this travel inn. The inn itself is sitiuated very central within the heart of glasgow and is easily reached coming from M8 southbound and M74 northbound. The inn itself is a comfertable place to relax have a nice meal and blow the cobwebs away from an exhausting day. The rooms are very comfertable and the cleanliness is of a high standard the inn caters for most peoples culinary requirements and the food is of a high standard. Iwould have no problem recommending people try it but it is only my opinion. postnote. glasgow is a vibrant throbbing community and staying at the inn gurentees you access to its lively shops boutiques and pubs. Holiday Inn Leeds Garforth

Advantages: Excellent food, friendly staff, convenient location
Disadvantages: Small rooms

likely to cost nearer £80. We paid £60 not including breakfast for a Saturday night in March. Location The Holiday Inn Leeds Garforth is located about 6 miles east of Leeds city centre. It is minutes away from junctions 46 and 47 of the M1 and close to the A1(M) and the M62. The hotel is located on the roundabout where the A63 and the A642 cross. On the other side of the roundabout there is a Beefeater. Garforth train station is roughly a mile from the hotel. Check-in Check-in was quick and the lady on the desk was pleasant and helpful. There were no queues and the hotel lobby was spacious and modern. Our room was located on the first floor and was a bit of a walk from the lobby. The Room The room was small but perfectly formed so to speak. It contained two single beds, which I was happy about as I was expecting a double ...
