When i needed some where to stay in Lincoln I decided on the Premier Travel Inn after checking other hotels around Lincoln i thought this would be the best. I'd stayed in Premier Travel Inns before,so I knew they were comfortable rooms and i was looking forward to my stay.

The location was not the best i'd seen, i don't really know Lincoln apart from the city centre so I was expecting it to be in the city centre however i found that this wasn't the case. The hotel is away from the city centre so you can't get to and from the hotel without a car/taxi which is a big downside.

Luckily i was driving so with the help of The AA route planner and some friendly Lincoln people i found my way to The Premier Travel Inn, Canwick Hill, Lincoln. However if i was not driving you'd have to get a taxi there as it is not within walking distance of the train station

When i drove towards the Premier Travel Inn I was pleased to see that there was a Brewers Fayre next to the hotel which i knew from previous experiences served good quality reasonable food. It was a good thing that the pub restaurant was there as there is no where else to buy food. Breakfast is available from the restaurant as well, with a chocie of full breakfast at £7.50, which provides a good start to the day with a choice of cereal, toast, yogurts etc in a buffet,on top of that your full breakfast. If you have a smaller appetite there is always the contitental buffet for £5.25, both are good value.

There is onsite parking, however it is shared with the pub restaurant so if you are arriving in the evening the car park may be very busy.

The hotel has rooms adapted for customers with disabilities where the beds have easy access.

After an easy check, after booking on line it was easy, just pay, fill in and sign the relevant things and your key card is given. The room was £54 a night which was reasonable for a decent nights sleep. The staff were very friendly and polite and were keen to assist in anyway.

I found my room in perfect condition, the room had your usual furnishing (bed, dresser, table and chair) other things provided was a television, hair dryer kettle and tea making equipment, all the things you expect in your room. All of these amenities were clean and in good condition as expected. The bed was very comfortable with sheets that kept me sufficiently warm during the night.

The ensuite bathroom is very modern with shower, bath ,toilet and sink all in good working condition. The shower worked well and was fairly powerfull, i always like showers to be powerfull and this one was just that. The bathroom was spotless and as usual had your little shower gels which always come in handy.

All in all the room was in great condition and was great for what i needed it for, the room was clean and tidy and extremly comfortable, the only downside was the location!

That's not far from my house. You can walk into town but it's a bit of a march. Good review.
