Like everything nowadays, we booked online. We found their website easy to navigate and booking a room was simple. We had no problems when booking. We did call up the hotel a few days before our journey, to make sure our booking had gone through, and it did.

On our arrival, we parked our car in the free car park which was very close to the hotel. There were plenty of car spaces, so we had nothing to worry about there. On arrival at the hotel entrance, we were at the reception desk with a member of staff and the desk. We told her who we were and showed her a print out of our booking that we had printed at home. She politily gave us the key to our room, told us where our room was in the hotel and told us about the resturant including breakfast that we could get the next morning. We made our way to our room. Our room was about a 2 minute walk from the reception desk, and the corridoors were very long.

In our room, as we entered were presented with an open wardrobe with no doors. There were 2 or 3 hangers, which we did not find very helpful to four people staying in the room. From past experience with alot of hotels we had been in, we knew to bring our own hangers if we needed them. Also, the floor was covered in carpet. There were several mirrors on the walls which was a good addition to the room. There were four people staying in the room, and the room we got given had a double bed, and single bed and a small matress on the floor, which was opposite to the other single bed. I was the one sleeping on this, and thought they could have at least provided a single bed, if there was enough room for a single matress. There was a unit opposite the large double bed which had a lamp, and a small TV. The bathroom had a tiled floor, and the bathroom was covered in clear white sparkling tiles. There was a bath, with a shower. A toilet, and an average sized sink. There was a fair amount of room to move around in the bathroom.

The staff at the reception desk were polite. We used this hotel on each way of our journey, going, and returning. The staff, and cleaners that we came across were polite and try their best to help. We did not need to talk to staff as we did not have any problems, but from what we saw, they were very polite and helpful.

The cleanless of the hotel was average. Not bad, but not perfect. This could be improved, as the halls of the hotel seemed dusty. But apart from the dustiness - the hotels cleanliness was good.

The receptionist told us that breakfast could be bought in the resturant next door. The breakfast that was on offer was a cooked English breakfast. You had to order this from the waitress before getting your other things from the buffet like hot and cold drinks and juices. fruit, cereal, and other breakfast items. The food was very nice, and staff in the resturant were very polite and happy to help. The price of a cooked English breakfast with the side buffet was around £7.50, per adult. Prices vary for children. Under 15's have a free breakfast with every paying adult.

For dinner, you go to the same resturant as you do for breakfast. You go into the resturant, choose a table, and wait for a waiter. You can pau before or after you meal. You can choose from a wide range of starters, main meals, side orders, and deserts. The meals came hot, and as we wanted them. The staff in the resturant were helpful, friendly, and tried hard to help the guest. Every Thursday, one lucky table wins their meals for free.

The cost of a room for one night, was £30. This did not matter on the number of people staying in a room. I think the maximum is four. I think the price is good, and fair for what the Travel Inn offers.

I would use again if I had to, but I may consider another hotel in the area. I found it a peacefull hotel, and was not below hotel standards. I did not think the hotel was fantastic but was a good place to stay, and had no major faults. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who needs somewhere to stay while travelling or in the area. It is not a bad hotel as I said earlier.

It really is very cheap so I guess you wouldn't expect perfection! Nice review.
