On arriving at the Hotel, the location was great, less than 100 yards from the front entrance was the 'London Eye', and everything else the south bank has to offer. Inside the hotel the atmosphere and decor was pleasant, with a few armchairs in the reception area for the weary traveller. Checking in was easy, and we were given our room cards, which were also needed to be able to use the lifts. You couldn't call a lift without swiping your card. Once entering my room, i was happy enough with the room. It of course was 'No Frills', but it was more than comfortable for my purpose.
Room ~~~~~
As i have already stated the room was 'No Frills', yet it had everything that i required. The only drawback was that the view from the window was into a courtyard, but above the rooftop i could see the 'London Eye'. The bathroom was cosy enough with a bath and shower combined as well as sink and toilet. The room was supplied with 4 towels, but no 'free' toiletries were provided.
The room consisted of: -Bed (double) -Two Chairs -Two Bedside Cabinets -Telephone (never used it) -TV and remote -Kettle and cup -Open Wardrobe with 5 hangers and 3 small shelves -Ashtray
As far as i can remember there probably was a small basket of tea/coffee/sugar, but since i only used the room to wash and sleep i cannot be sure. I purchased a few nibbles from a newsagents across the road.
Food and Drinks ~~~~~~~~~~~~~
On the ground floor was a small bar with plenty of seating, tables. A few sofas were tucked into the corner of the room. Drinks were fairly priced for the centre of London too. The bar area also had a large screen TV which had Sky broadcasting. The area was open planned and across from the bar area was the resturant which served breakfast, lunch and dinner. These were all at extra cost, breakfast came in the form of a buffet in which you could help yourself to as little or as much as you wanted. The price for breakfast was £6.95, the rest of the meals were priced fairly also. The choice was limited but the quality of the food was good.
Parking and other Amenities ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
There is No parking available at the Hotel, so other arrangements need to be made. There is a Car Park less than 5 minutes walk away, that costs about £20 for a 24 hr period which is camered and manned. Please note that the hotel is also in the Congestion Charge area also.
At the hotel there is Internet access as well as Wi-Fi availability. Prices for this vary, with the larger users getting a cheaper price, but i still felt that it was overpriced for my liking.
The only other thing that i noticed on the ground floor was a Vending Machine to charge Mobiles and other Hand Held devices at £1 per hr of charge.
Prices ~~~~~
The cost of room only varies depending on what events are taking place in the area, but have seen the price fluctuate between £85 to £130 per night. So book in advance and ask for the price at the time. Flexibility to when you go could save you money!
Conclusion ~~~~~~~~~
I would recommend this hotel for a short break to the Capital, due to it's location and simplicity, the other advantage is that you pay per room and not per person so if you are sharing the price per head drops. If you are a big breakfast type of person, stay and eat in the restaurant, if not go out and eat elsewhere.

Review of Premier Travel Inn London - County Hall, London
Advantages: Good price, friendly staff, good location, good meals, quiet Disadvantages: No wheelchair access at the front
...the London tourist attractions. The Premier Inn County Hall Hotel fit the bill and also delivered so much more.
I caught a taxi from the train station and the first thing that I noticed when getting there was that the part of Belvedere Road in which the hotel is situated has barriers at either end so only traffic that has a reason for being there is allowed in...this makes the front of the hotel quieter than most places in London. The building also ... ...had been reserved through the Premier Inn website and so it was just a matter of paying for the room with a credit card. Check in is not until after 2pm but you can drop off your luggage for free while you take in some of the sights.
The lifts are clean and very smooth - these can only be accessed with a room keycard so remember to have your with you at all times. The rooms are very nice especially considering the price. My room included a double ...

Hotel
Premier Inn - County Hall, London
Location
Hotel is located right by the London Eye, it does not face the Thames / Eye , but faces 180 degrees the other way. We could see the Eye from our room - although this is not a photo opportunity view. The location is central and convenient. Nearest tube is probably Waterloo and on the other side of the Thames - Westminster.
Accross the road from the hotel are a number of eateries.
I personally felt ... ...was larger than a normal Premier Inn room. This room also contained all the usual facilities such as open wardrobe, dressing table, TV, hairdryer, tea/coffee facilities and an en-suite bathroom. There was a safety deposit box which you could pay an extra £1.50 a night to use (a petty charge).
The room was located a fair walk from the lift - the cons of this are its can be a long walk to and fro with young children, the pro - because of firedoors ...

Advantages: Location and price Disadvantages: Breakfast not included; views
The Premier Travel Inn County Hall London is in an ideal location for tourists.
It's right next to the London Eye and the Thames as well as being close to the Houses of Parliament and many other attractions.
We only stayed one night, but the Premier Inn offered just what we were looking for - a cheap stay but in a clean and good quality room and hotel. Our room cost £86.95 for a Saturday night stay in early October.
As well as the bed, the ensuite ... ...your clothes, tea and coffee making facilities and a TV. There is also access to ironing facilities.
Check-in was easy and checking out was also quick and simple.
Although we couldn't get into our room until 2pm, there was no problem with leaving our luggage at the hotel.
Breakfast was not included, but was available at extra cost in the restaurant/bar.
The views from our windows looked out into an enclosed courtyard - and the not the Thames ...

Advantages: Excellent value, location Disadvantages: Basic hotel
I try to arrange a couple of days break for my husband and myself, away from the children, every Easter holiday and we like to visit London and see the sites. If you are looking for reasonably priced accommodation in central London then PremierTravelInn is probably your best bet. I considered three - CountyHall, near the London Eye; London Bridge, north side of the bridge and Southwark. I have to admit that I didn't know where Southwark was until I looked on a map and I was surprised to find out how central to everything it was, so I chose to stay here.
The PremierTravelInn Southwark is about eight minutes walk from London Bridge Underground Station - so make sure that your luggage has wheels! I struggled but had a rest in the grounds of Southwark Cathedral at the halfway point. Doctor Who fans may remember the episode ...
