Advantages Close to London, friendly staff.

Disadvantages Some Noise from Tube

I searched through travelodge and premier inn for good deals and prices on central London hotels for myself and family to spend a few nights to explore the sights of London. I looked through review sights myself to help me confirm my choices. Finally i decided on this premier inn due to price and location.

Location:

11 Knaresborough Place,
London, SW5 0TJ
T: 0871 527 8666
F: 0871 527 8667

This Premier inn is very easy to find, the closest station is earls court tube station. To get from earls court station it take about 2 minute walk, you walk out the front of the station, cross at the crossing and you will see Earls Court Gardens. Walk all the way down this road and the premier inn is located on the corner to your left. The Premier inn is in 2 buildings crossing Knaresborough Rd, they are connected by a walk way.

Local attractions inearby are the Natural History museum, Victoria and Albert Science museums, Harrods but basically your a quick tube trip from central London. Tubes to Earls court were easy to get and was never too busy.

Price:

I paid £173 for a family of 4 for 2 nights Sunday and Monday for October half term weekend. I just checked current online price for similar dates and its works out at £184, check out website deals often as prices are always changing.

Check-in:

I called before i arrived to see if we could store our luggage and they said this was ok, arrived at around 10am, checked in our bags and was given a luggage slip, we then went into London for the day. Their was no charge for leaving our luggage.

We returned to check-in at around 9pm, when we arrived we was greeted by a lady and gentleman. The gentleman helped my husband collect our luggage from the store room and the lady helped me check-in using the check-in machines which was very simple to use. You just filled in your details and out the machine came your keys for your room.

Room:

Our room was abit of a walk from the lobby, we was in the building across the road. we walked over the walk way and up one floor to our family room which was actually located right above the walkway.

When we arrived in the room, everything was clean and tidy. Our double bed was made but we had to make up the childrens beds which is quit normal, the childrens bed was basically a sofa with a pull out bit underneath. The beds here was comfortable and alot better than travelodge ones, stayed in a horrible one the day before coming here, review to follow soon.

The Bathroom was clean and the shower was easy to use with great pressure, the towels were fresh and clean and plenty for a family of 4.

There is a kettle and tea/coffee making in the room, there was several teas and coffees and this filled up each day. We did ask for extra milks and was given a big hand full at reception.

There is also a Tv in the room, which was very easy to use. There was one hairdryer which we did use several times and this dryed our hair well. There was plenty of storage space for a family of 4.

We always need extra pillows, so we went down and asked and was given several with no problems.
