...I have lived near Manchester for nearly fifteen years and i think it is a great city. It is situated in a part of the United Kingdom that receives a lot of rain and dull weather, but don't let that put you off. The city plays host to two Premier League football teams, Manchester City and Manchester United who won the treble a few seasons ago which included the European Champions League. Staying on the sporting side of things, Manchester is the home of Lancashire County Cricket Club, or at least Old Trafford is. Lancashire were the one-day team of the 90's and are currently very involved in the race for this years County Championship.

Advantages: New, clean, polite staff Disadvantages: hard to find within the Trafford Centre

There are 20 screens at this cinema and each one is very modern, has a good view and is clean inside....

Advantages: Disabled access, huge amount of things to do! Disadvantages: Quite hard to get to, usually pretty busy.
...For anyone that doesn't know; the TraffordCentre is Manchester's biggest shopping centre and easily more impressive than anything else Manchester has by the way of shopping. But what makes this place sooooo great? Well son, shut your mouth, take your hat off and generally be quiet and I'll tell you!
The TraffordCentre takes your traditional shopping centre (e.g. Manchester's very own Arndale centre) and expands it, it then adds a state of the art UCI cinema, loads of restaurants, a market type place, the highest indoor fountain I've ever seen and Namco Station (a sort of arcade, bowling alley, dodgem area). All of these things separately are great - all under ONE ROOF - brilliant!...

I stayed at the Tulip Inn (Trafford Centre) early in August as the Arctic Monkeys were playing at Lancashire Cricket Ground.
When we arrived the car park was quite full but had plenty of spaces, even though the hotel very obviously very busy.
