Premier Inn, Charing Cross Glasgow

Advantages: Close to town and all amenities
Disadvantages: none

I have never stayed in the Premier Inn before, but I felt I had to share my experience of the past weekend. The staff in both reception and the restaurant were fantastic, they were really helpful and made you feel right at home. The room and bathroom were both spotless, warm and the freeview television meant that my daughter didn't miss her soaps while she was away. The bed was both big and comfortable and we didn't have any trouble getting to sleep. We opted for the breakfast deal and we were not disappointed, the food was well cooked and warm there was also plenty of choice. Access to the hotel was excellent for both able bodied and non-able bodied people, we didn't have a wheelchair but we did have a six month old baby and a pram, and even though it is situated next to Charing Cross rail station we didn't hear a thing from ...

Paris Beauvais Airport

Advantages: Small, compact, quick service
Disadvantages: Few shops/entertainment facilities

I travelled to Paris using Ryanair in Easter 2001. Ryanair seems to specialise in using small, undiscovered airports which require you to get a bus to the nearest city, and this is the case with Beauvais. It is a very small airport, which nevertheless has a reasonable selection of duty-free and duty-paid goods on sale as you leave to return to the UK, and there is a café if you arrive early, although this is must be taken advantage of before you proceed to the departure lounge. On arrival in Beauvais from the UK, there is a bus which cost me in 2001 about £6 and takes you directly into Paris, to a metro station, from where the rest of Paris is accessible. The bus journey lasts about an hour and a half. The return to the airport is straightforward as well - tickets for the return bus trip can be bought at the James Joyce pub very ...

Review of Paris - Beauvais

Top Class!

Advantages: cute, cuddly
Disadvantages: retired

I love TY beanies, they are utterly adorable! My friends and I have collected them for years and between us we own most of them, I think! One of these cute little animals is Class of 2004 the owl. Class of 2004: Class of 2004 is not exactly the name of this owl, but moreso what it stands for. Naturally is stands for all those who are in the class of 2004! For me it is not just a bear, but it symbolises my 'growing up'. I began secondary school in 2004, so it does me a lot to me! Not a great name for most, but for me it is special. Appearance: The owl, ironically, looks like an own! He has white fur which is quite thick and long and to the touch is very soft indeed. His arms are made of a much finer fur which is not as thick but equally as soft. His fuzzy face is decorated with a little black beak and two beady eyes, and his little ...
