Premier Inn, Charing Cross Glasgow

Advantages: Close to town and all amenities
Disadvantages: none

I have never stayed in the Premier Inn before, but I felt I had to share my experience of the past weekend. The staff in both reception and the restaurant were fantastic, they were really helpful and made you feel right at home. The room and bathroom were both spotless, warm and the freeview television meant that my daughter didn't miss her soaps while she was away. The bed was both big and comfortable and we didn't have any trouble getting to sleep. We opted for the breakfast deal and we were not disappointed, the food was well cooked and warm there was also plenty of choice. Access to the hotel was excellent for both able bodied and non-able bodied people, we didn't have a wheelchair but we did have a six month old baby and a pram, and even though it is situated next to Charing Cross rail station we didn't hear a thing from ...

Review of Premier Travel Inn Glasgow - City Centre (Charing Cross), Glasgow

Top Class!

Advantages: cute, cuddly
Disadvantages: retired

I love TY beanies, they are utterly adorable! My friends and I have collected them for years and between us we own most of them, I think! One of these cute little animals is Class of 2004 the owl. Class of 2004: Class of 2004 is not exactly the name of this owl, but moreso what it stands for. Naturally is stands for all those who are in the class of 2004! For me it is not just a bear, but it symbolises my 'growing up'. I began secondary school in 2004, so it does me a lot to me! Not a great name for most, but for me it is special. Appearance: The owl, ironically, looks like an own! He has white fur which is quite thick and long and to the touch is very soft indeed. His arms are made of a much finer fur which is not as thick but equally as soft. His fuzzy face is decorated with a little black beak and two beady eyes, and his little ...

Review of Ty Class of 2004 Owl

Top Class

Advantages: Side Impact version has good reviews for safety
Disadvantages: No major ones

We took ages to decide which type of car seat we wanted - one to install and leave or one that you'd be able to carry baby around in. Further research and we decided an install and leave would be more appropriate as we could get more use out of it (newborn to about 4 yrs) and then easily use a sling/baby carrier. Of the 0+ class of seats we looked at we were most impressed by the Britax First Class for its good safety reviews and the length of use we should be able to get straight from birth. And we've not been disappointed. Easy to install and remove, looks comfortable for little Siún, not too heavy but you wouldn't want to be carrying it around, nice finish and generally feels sturdy. It is a little bit on the big side, and the set up means that in the newborn position a seat belt sits in the way slightly but other than that we ...
