I've fallen in love with Saint Paul de Vence

Advantages: Beautiful place
Disadvantages: expensive

My dad?s friend and his wife work in the South of France and they live in Saint Paul de Vence. I?ve been fortunate enough to visit them with my parents 4 times in the last couple of years. The first time we went to the village, we were staying in a hotel in Nice and only went to St Paul for the afternoon/evening. The following three times, I we stayed in their house in the village for a few days. Having now visited on more than one occasion, I think I have a good feel for this lovely little place. Every year this village sees millions of tourists pass through it?s cobbled streets every year and as it?s such a beautiful place I can see why? Where is it? Saint Paul de Vence is a small walled village located in Provence, in Southern France. We fly to Nice airport (with easyjet) and our friend picks us from there. A taxi from ...

Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat Highlighter

Advantages: does the job
Disadvantages: expensive

Yves Saint Laurent's Touche Eclat has become known as the best highlighter money can buy, and that's not without reason. Yes, the brand name and packaging are appealing, but it's the miracle inside the shiny gold tube that you're paying for. And believe, me it's worth the money. Before Touche Eclat, Yves Saint Laurent was not particularly well-known for its make-up line. Whilst many designer cosmetics are more style than substance, this is not true for Touche Eclat, which is more than a side-project for a major fashion house. This product works as both a concealer, covering dark under-eye circles and as a highlighter, to accent areas such as cheekbones. The reason why it works so well is that it contains light reflecting particles with give your skin a natural, radiant glow, whereas other concealers and cover-ups effectively just ...

Review of Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat (Radiant Touch)

Premier Inn, Charing Cross Glasgow

Advantages: Close to town and all amenities
Disadvantages: none

I have never stayed in the Premier Inn before, but I felt I had to share my experience of the past weekend. The staff in both reception and the restaurant were fantastic, they were really helpful and made you feel right at home. The room and bathroom were both spotless, warm and the freeview television meant that my daughter didn't miss her soaps while she was away. The bed was both big and comfortable and we didn't have any trouble getting to sleep. We opted for the breakfast deal and we were not disappointed, the food was well cooked and warm there was also plenty of choice. Access to the hotel was excellent for both able bodied and non-able bodied people, we didn't have a wheelchair but we did have a six month old baby and a pram, and even though it is situated next to Charing Cross rail station we didn't hear a thing from ...
