I love Pret - they offer a great range of food, perfect for lunches, which you can either eat in or take away. Although there are the more basic sandwiches, such as a good old egg mayo, they also offer more exciting combinations, such as crayfish ... ...and coffee, to a yummy Pret hot chocolate, fizzy drinks, water, and some really delicious freshly-squeezed Pret juices and smoothies. A selection of fruit is always available, and the cakes and pastries are definitely worth a try - I particularly love the mini doughnuts (their size is perfect for when you want something sweet but don't want the guilt!).

The food can be quite pricey, but some options, such as the egg mayo, are also suprisingly cheap. The price however definitely reflects the quality; the food tastes a million times better than your average shop-bought sandwich, and the staff are always friendly and helpful. Ingredients are fresh each morning, which means that, as well as not including the many additives and preservatives in other shop-bought sandwiches, the range also changes regularly to keep up with what is fresh.
There is always a good selection in-store, and the shelves are regularly re-filled. Options include sandwiches, salads, wraps, baguettes, heated wraps (including a really tasty Swedish meatball one - even if it does sound a bit strange!), soups and sushi. There are also a range of drinks, from tea and coffee, to a yummy Pret hot chocolate, fizzy drinks, water, and some really delicious freshly-squeezed Pret juices and smoothies. The Bluewater Pret a Manger is in a good location in the shopping centre, and is a great place to stop for lunch. The service has always been good whenever I have been, but it is often busy. Despite this, I always feel that waiting a couple of minutes for a table is well-worth it; you don't normally have to wait long as there is generally quite a fast turnover. The atmopshere is good, and the decor inside is modern and stylish. I would definitely recommend Pret a Manger for those wanting something a bit different for lunch - the selection is normally so good it is really hard to choose just one!
Advantages: Exotic fillings Disadvantages: Fussy and over priced
...places, until I came across pret a manger. I went in to get myself a little cheese salad sandwich but I had slight trouble trying to do this. Firstly, the queues were huge and the place was packed. When I finally reached the food cabinets, all I could find was large, exotic fillings like French brie with grapes and salad with dressing or bacon with avocado and mustard! Yuck. All I wanted was a simple sandwich, not a meal in 2 slices of bread. Being ...
