Forrestal is a sanctuary of comfort only five miles from Princeton, N.J. Located midway between New York City and Philadelphia, the hotel provides a sophisticated Garden State environment that caters to both leisure travelers and business professionals. By utilizing modern architectural forms and conventional interior mediums like red brick and cherry wood, the hotel has successfully mingled the past with the present. The health club is an example of this extreme attention to precision engineering: with slashing angles of glass and steel, the indoor pool is housed in a structurally unique facility that epitomizes a trend towards high tech design and minimalism. The Princeton Marriott Hotel and Conference Center at Forrestal's extensive amenities include 35,000 square feet of conference and meeting space, banquet facilities, gift shop, game room and an impressive 15,000 square foot spa that offers massage therapy, facials andbody wraps. Serving Mediterranean and Italian cuisine, the onsite restaurant Gratella is open daily. For a more casual environment, Barley's Pub features eight beers on tap and a pub style menu. Each of the hotel's 290 spacious guestrooms feature contemporary cherry and Sedona red wood furniture, vast windows with original fabric treatments and eye catching wall prints. Amenities include coffeemakers with Wolfgang Puck coffee, wet bars, high speed Internet access, cable television, video game consoles, refrigerators and complimentary daily newspapers. Overlooking the surrounding wooded property, every guestroom at the Doral Forrestal Hotel lends itself to a very memorable venture.

and winds through several scenic villages before ending in New Brunswick, draws scores of cyclists, runners, and families in good weather. A series of plaques along the towpath chronicles the building of the canal in the 19th century, primarily by Irish immigrants. For more serious hiking, Sauerland Mountain lies to the northwest, about a fifteen minute drive from Princeton. More excellent walking can be found at the Stony Brook-Millstone Watershed Association's nature preserve near the town of Pennington.

Advantages: Great looks, decent volume Disadvantages: Volume control, clean tone controls
I bought a Princeton 112+ for £200 about 2 years ago, so the main point on the plus side for this amp is the value. Although its pretty small, this amp is a very loud 65W, and is perfectly loud enough for even large pub/club gigs.
The amp is a 1x12" combo, with two channels and a master reverb control. The first channel (clean) only has controls for volume/treble/bass; while the distortion channel has gain/volume/treble/bass/contour. The contour control - similar to that on most Marshall Valvestates - works by shifting the range of the middle frequencies, so it does a bit more than a simple middle pot. Basically, turn it one way and the distortion sounds kinda bluesy, turn it the other way and you've got scooped thrash metal.
I think the distortion is a bit crap, but you can get it to sound good with a lot of EQ tweaking - so it won ...
Advantages: large selection of conference rooms for businesses Disadvantages: no entertainment for those not in a conference,
I stayed at the Ramada Hotel and ConferenceCenter, Edmonton, for 18 days in October. The stay was not a comfortable one. The check in counter was lined up upon arrival, and always appears to be lined up. The Elevators are ODD. You never know what will happen when you get in one when it finally shows up at your floor. The beds are hard. I was put on a waiting list for a fridge and in the 18 days never received a fridge. The wireless internet was unstable, sometimes allowing me to hook up, sometimes shutting down in the middle of an email. It advertised as wireless but I had to use the cable the majority of the time. There is only two washers and two dryers (that take up to two hours to dry one load), which seems inadequate for the number of rooms in the hotel. The staff at the front desk and the restaurant are somewhat unprofessional ...
