We stayed in this hotel in 2001.There were 4 adults & 1 child,& the all inc.price was the initial attraction.£533 for 2 weeks flying direct from Edinburgh. Our transfer time was nearly 2 hours & we were the last to be dropped off, which is always a little worrying but we were delighted when we saw the hotel,as it is very well maintained and in a nice spot. The rooms were a decent size with a roomy balcony,& a fairly nice side on view of the sea,& a very pretty little church in the distance. We also looked on to the tenniscourts which I never saw used, probably due to the heat! I have to say Cyprus was very hot when we went in June, not a cloud in the sky,but we soon found that it could be very windy, which can lull you into forgetting how hot it really was.Lots of people were badly burned, but we were lucky as having a child with us made us more aware of the dangers. The food choices in the hotel were great ! We love our holidays & good food is a big part of having an enjoyable time,& we could find no fault at all.The hotel was geared to the family & the evening entertainment included lots for the kids.We like to get out and about on our hols & there were loads of trips to choose from including the mini cruise to my fav. place of all ,Egypt. Our only quibble with our visit was the location.Again because of the heat,it was a bind walking into Protoras town every time we wanted to go out. There is a bus service, but theres no timetable & they simply turn as & when they like, and didnt run late into the evening so it limited us a bit.The jeep safari up into the Troodos mountains was amazing, with the most spectacular scenery and some of the scariest roads ive ever seen !.This trip includes a visit to an ostrich farm ,& a camel ride,& a lovely barbecue lunch. It cost about £30 then,& may be more now but worth every penny.Car hire was cheap,so we got a jeep for 4 days and saw lots of nice villages with lovely little churches.Going uphill to the beach was strange but the beach was beautiful with lots of water sports going on.We would definitely recommend this place for a holiday.
