Advantages: clean Disadvantages: quite far from alcudia centre
...I stayed at this hotel with my 2 friends for a week and found it to be quite far away from alcudias nightlife, it was about 3euros to get there in a taxi, although this was not a problem it was a lot of hassle trying to find a taxi there and back every night. If you want to stay around the centre of playa de muro there a a number of restaurants but most entertainment is centred round the larger hotels, there is very few bars. At hotelLagoPark 2, there is not much in the way of entertainment, we went in high season and there was no entertainment in the day, and not very high quality at night. The rooms are of a reasonable standard, air conditioned although we didnt realise this until the last night, and a very powerful shower!! There was a reasonable selection of snacks at the bar for at lunchtime. I would definately return to Alcudia...

Advantages: No ride charges, new rides every year, weather report on website Disadvantages: Pricey food, queues, school trips in summer, transport can be difficult
...Oakwood Leisure Park is situated in Pembrokeshire, just off the A40 at Canaston Bridge, next to the CC2000 Bowling Alley and Entertainment Centre.

Advantages: tree lined streets bars and cafe Disadvantages: does get steep in places.
...rather steep steps lead down to the beach, not suitable for the elderly, quite a bit rocky and limited sand, but quite, peaceful and secluded. The other is beyond the harbour, vast expanse of beach but a fair walk after parking the car, but well worth the visit, my kids were amazed at the piles of Cuttle fish they picked up on the beach, they had only ever seen it in pet shops, a lot flatter beach than the other side, plenty of sand and a gentle sloping shelf into the sea, A word of warning however the state of the water does seem to change quite quickly without any warning, from calm to rough, so keep an eye on the kids.
Over the road, heading inland is Lagos town itself, a traffic free zone in the central parts, starts of flat but does rise quite substantially, mainly Bars and Small cafes, all very reasonably priced, and a few Larger...
